Sake Service Institute (SSI) is supporting SEAFOOD LOVES SAKE done by The Japan Food Product Overseas Promotion Center (JFOODO). JFOODO is an organization that works on branding and the promotion of Japanese agriculture, forestry, and fishery products that are at Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
This is a promotion of sake and its pairing between seafood with a scientific perspective for consumers in Hong Kong. The promotion is spread by sake stores but SSI sake sales and service software also contribute as an educational tool to these stores.
On September 19th, the opening ceremony of this promotion was held in Hong Kong. Executive Director Haruyuki Hioki attended and presented how well seafood and sake can be paired.
